Mechanical Jewellery Warranty
Rotaring products incorporate a precision-engineered mechanical component. As with all mechanical systems, appropriate care is required to maintain performance and longevity.
This Warranty Policy explains what is covered, what is not covered, and how warranty claims are assessed.
Limited Mechanical Manufacturing Warranty — 12 Months
All Rotaring products are covered by a 12-month limited mechanical manufacturing warranty, commencing from the date of delivery.
This warranty covers:
-
Manufacturing or assembly defects
-
Mechanical faults present at the time of delivery
-
Spinner retention failure where no evidence of impact, misuse, wear, or interference is identified
Where a valid warranty claim is confirmed, Rotaring will, at its discretion:
-
Repair the ring
-
Replace the affected component
-
Replace the ring where repair is not feasible
What Is Not Covered
Due to the mechanical nature of the product, this warranty does not cover damage, failure, or performance issues arising from:
-
Impact, shock, or knocking against hard surfaces
-
Excessive force or aggressive spinning
-
Repeated or continuous mechanical manipulation
-
Wear and tear resulting from regular use
-
Water ingress, prolonged moisture exposure, or corrosion
-
Exposure to chemicals, soaps, perfumes, or cleaning agents
-
Environmental conditions such as high humidity, heat, or salinity
-
Accidental damage
-
Unauthorised repairs, alterations, or attempted disassembly
Mechanical components are subject to natural wear over time. Performance changes resulting from wear are not considered manufacturing defects.

Care instructions are provided with every order via an enclosed card and are available on our Care & Tips page.
Failure to follow the care and usage guidance outlined on the Care & Tips page may result in warranty claims being declined.
Water & Moisture Guidance
Although precious metals are used, the internal mechanical components are not designed for prolonged exposure to moisture.
Rings should be removed before:
-

Failure or corrosion caused by moisture exposure is not covered under this warranty.

For issues believed to be present upon delivery, customers are advised to contact us within 48 hours of receipt, providing clear photographs or video evidence to support the claim.
